This sermon preached by Dave Hunt is convicting and tells the tale of where the Church is today. Just as God told us in His word, we are lovers of self, wanting a comfortable and entertaining lifestyle instead of the life of sacrifice we are called to live.
I had time to listen to almost half. This looks like an old video, maybe 70's? His sermon is on target for what is happening today as you have said. I loved he can't find the baby in the water. Contend for the faith is what Smith says. Hunt has a very good point on miracles. I liked what he said about the miracles of Jesus did not bring all who saw them to believe. I confess I have been thinking miracles would cause people to come but our heavenly Father draws people to Jesus. Even the children of Israel who saw all the miracles in Egypt and the wilderness refused to believe an followed the Baal of the Canaanites. Thanks for sharing.
